A web-hosted portal that contains the technology bundle that has been chosen by the educational establishment ready for purchasing. This is a direct to end-user model where the financial liability remains with the purchasing parents or guardian.
Parents and students can buy the technology bundle with educational discounts, including any accessories. This is offered either through an outright purchase or through a credit card facility which offers a monthly payment schedule over 12, 24 or 36 months.
The web-hosted portal can include the educational establishment’s branding and includes all the elements required to assist the journey to a successful mobile device project.
The Apple devices and any included accessories are delivered to the educational establishment and therefore eligible for education pricing.
Insurance and warranty claims are processed via AppleCare.
A finance option based on a client operating lease. The model allows the institution to either directly lease devices over a 2, 3 or 4-year model and where required, also request voluntary parent contributions. This model means the financial liability always remains with the institution.
Educational establishments that want to lease Apple technology and make quarterly or annual payments through their own cap-ex funding or through a parent voluntary contribution scheme.
At the end of the lease you have the option to refresh your Apple technology and enter into a new agreement. This means that you are always up-to-date and able to take advantage of new features, including services and support.
Insurance is normally required, and Cidermatics can discuss the option but please note that an insurance product cannot be added onto the lease.
The lease term is usually 1, 2, 3 or 4 years.
