Apple School Manager (ASM)

Apple School Manager is a central element of modern device deployment for education institutions. It is a management portal for Macs, iPads, Phones and Apple TV. Apple School Manager is used to connect mobile device management (MDM) in order to provide the institute with a single window for deploying and configuring device settings, connect the identity provider (IdP) management system and student directories, create Managed Apple IDs, assign roles, configure policies and settings, and purchase content. ASM admin can assign different roles, including the leadership team, administrators, teachers and students, which each have their own privileges through an unique managed Apple ID.
